I need to have an Android child Class of BroadcastReceiver, that will receive incoming SMS before default SMS messenger and other third party applications that work with SMS messages. In the onReceive method I need to have a possibility to block message so no other applications could receive it. I need this solution to be tested with application "GO SMS Pro" ( [login to view URL] ). So totally: I need to have a possibility to block SMS before "GO SMS Pro" or any other app receive it. Solution should be the code in Java and should work on not rooted Android API versions 8+.

Hi, Thanks for the invitation. I just want to let you know this is not possible because GO SMS Pro has its BroadcastReceiver priority set at maximum value 2147483647, so other apps cannot hide SMS from it. My bid is a placeholder just to be able to post the message. Thank you
