Data Warehouse - Reporting Schema Design

We run a Java-based internet platform which persists data to a large relational schema including requests, transactions, user preferences etc. As the platform is very successful this database is rapidly growing in data set size. We are looking to design version 2 of the dedicated reporting schema which is populated incrementally from the runtime schema used by the application. We are looking for a skilled contractor to help us design the reporting schema so that it allows efficient reporting over GB of data. Candidates are expected to have: a) experience with data warehouse design, b) excellent relational database skills c) MySql experience d) ideally Oracle experience e) ideally UML experience f) experience of reporting tools This should prove an interesting project for the right candidate with scope for an ongoing relationship.
