Hi, I have good knowledge of creating restful api and testing of same. So I am wondering why have you chosen selenium? Selenium is good and it can work but main part of it is web driver. It drives browsers so you can see tests (on different browsers and different OS) but for restful api you dont need that. I would suggest Testng and plain java rest calls. But if you need selenium specifically, that OK too. Hope we will talk more details for this project.

I shall write Visual Unit test project for testing REST API: Microsoft ASP.NET Web API Client Libraries supplies tools for calling REST services much better than Java Selenium. If Microsoft Windows is not acceptable for you I shall build AngularJS application for testing REST API. Protractor, Karma, Jasmine and Grunt will create automated tests available in any operating system.
