Advanced Javascript Event Calender

We need a javascript based event calendar built into our website. The users should be able to view events as a list or in calendar format. The calendar must be pure javascript, a div element will be present on the page and the module will be built entirely through javascript. An array of events will be defined in the heading tag of the page, you may also use any other initializing variables you see fit. The rest of the javascript code will be included in a script src tag. Strong knowledge of the DOM (document object model) will be necessary for this project. More details and examples can be given via PM.
