Head of Marketing

A global startup leading in the real world application of blockchain technology, is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Head of PR & Media to join their growing international team.

Responsible for telling the Everledger story to audiences including media, investors, partners and industry, the Head of PR & Media will develop the framework and strategy for Everledger's brand presence globally.

What you'll be doing:

Developing the company's media strategy and managing day-to-day reactive requests

Coordinating interviews, preparing briefing material for the team

Identifying key opportunities to share announcements with external audiences

Working with internal team to craft external product messaging

Writing press announcements, often in conjunction with external partners, and managing release to market

Responsible for Everledger's speaking engagement portfolio, including vetting opportunities and preparing presentation/scripting material

Coordinating Everledger's external commitments to advisory boards, committees and working groups

Managing Everledger's social presence

Drafting content including quotes, articles, blog posts, web content

Monitoring and correcting, where needed, all external facing material

Essential skills:

You have strong writing capabilities across a number of platforms including social, web and traditional

You have proven media relations skills, managing campaigns with strong results and developing relationships with journalists (exposure to global media markets a plus)

You have a keen eye for detail and experience editing/correcting media material

You thrive in a fast-paced environment where prioritising is essential

You have a hands-on approach to everything you do and aren't afraid of stepping outside of your role to get things done
