Find a photograph of a snow capped peak. Model the coverage of snow with a variety of functions. Using your mathematical knowledge, modelling skills and calculus, estimate the volume of water produced if the snow on your mountain melted. State all assumptions, limitations, calculations etc. If the melting snow was to be collected in a cylindrical reservoir give dimensions of a cylindrical tank that would hold all of the water.
