Code review / walkthrough / performance fine tuning for a logistic application

hi,I have been working on responsive web design for last 1 yr and have 7 years of experience in developing j2ee application based on struts .spring and hibernate. If your application is still in nascent stage i would recommend the use of spring mvc instead of struts. As a lead, I would check in your application. Variable initialization and scope. 4 Optimum use of resource (Resource handling). 5 memory usage and optimization. 6 data structure usage 7. execution time of each alogirithim, [login to view URL] management (my stroongest part). 10. DATASOURCE Management, I would recommend you to use tomcat based JNDI datasource. I woould do it for you, f you have not done. Belive me, performance would be magical !!, if you do this.
