C# .Net mail - a few lines of coding

I have an existing custom module for DNN site. I've created an XML string from the module. I need to email this string to an email address, defined as a variable from the settings page of the module. All of this is working as should be now with this exception. The email command uses a "Helper" called eMailHelper.cs. This eMailHelper however, strips out all the XML tags and only sends the data between the tags. I need the tags sent also. I think the answer lies in "[login to view URL]" but I can't figure it out. I've attached the CS file in question. The command in Line 97 needs to be fixed. I don't care if the fix is in the [login to view URL] file or is a new type of email, perhaps a new SendXMLEmail section in the [login to view URL] file.
