Database for network links

A simple database that will include the following information: Link: CCT Number (Note A & Z) Type (Note B) Access or Port (Note B) Speed (Note C) Class of Service (Note B) Status (Note B) ISP (Note B) Location: Name (Note B) Main or Backup (Note B) Type (Note B) Country (Note B) - City or Emirate (Note B) Comments (Note A) Notes A- This field is manually entered. For the "Line CCT Number" a simple text field will be enough with maximum of 20 characters to enter. for the "Location Commnets" a normal text box is okay. B- The values are selected from drop down menu. Thus there should be a page or pop-up window where I can add/edit/delete values in each menu. This is required in order to maintain uniform data. But you can NOT edit/delete existing values if already linked to a Link CCT number record field. C- Speed will be selected from two drop down menus, first one will have all digits (1 - 1000) or you may make it a text field but you need to make sure the value entered is a digit between 1 - 1000, second menu will have the values (Kbps - Mbps - Gbps - Tbps) Z- This is the only mandetory field to create a record. So YES we can create records with only Line CCT numbers. Now the main page should display a table of all records in the DB with the columns sorted like this: 1- Link CCT Number 2- Link Type 3- Link Access or Port 4- Link Speed 5- Link CoS 6- Link ISP 7- Location Name 8- Location Main or Backup 9- Location Type 10- Location Country 11- Location City or Emirate 12- Comments Now the user should be able to perform the following: 1- sort the table ascending or descending using any column. 2- hide any column or unhide (to make printing easier) 3- create a report from the displayed data on the screen (that's why we need to hide columns to avoid printing unwanted data). 4- search for any field(s) required using any option, a fully scalable search through this database. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform this needs to be a web application, no username/password login required. It will be installed on a normal Windows XP machine running SP3, so make it very simple i.e. no need to use SQL, MS Access will be good enough. The simple the better. Other users will be accessing this application through the network on that "server".
