Require an Android (v2.1) application that monitors a number of user events / actions and records them (in strict sequence of occurrence) to a hosted SQL database. The events / actions of interest (from the point in time the recording application is launched and NOT before) to record are:
• SMSs sent – message body, time sent, recipient number
• SMSs received – message body, time received, sender number
• Web Pages – http addresses of pages browsed
• GPS / Cell ID – gps coordinates or cellid when there is no satellite, time stamp (this is to be recorded at 5-minute intervals).
• Twitter – tweet body, timestamp
• Foursquare – check-in location name, venue categories, timestamp
To greatly simplify the Twitter and Foursquare aspects, the required data can be picked up via RSS as follows.
For Twitter, the tweets can be picked up using [login to view URL]{Username}
For FourSquare, the check-ins can also be obtained by looking at the above link (once the FourSquare account has been set to share all check-ins on the earlier specified Twitter account).
For more info on FourSquare API, see [login to view URL]
For every SMS, Web Page, and Tweet stored in the database, will also need to store its Topics and Sentiment, as determined using simple calls to two web APIs: OpenCalais and OpenAmplify.
The application records all this in the background and apart from a launch screen, where the user’s twitter account is entered, no other UI element is required.
Deadline 7 days – successful developer will have to be able to meet this and so it is imperative that they have previous experience of this type of application.
Thanks in advance
