CONVERT AUDIO/VIDEOS FILES AUTOMATICALLY ON WEBSITE!

Hello I have a AUDIO and VIDEO website that works like this: 1) User uploads media file (audio or video) 2) User chooses flash skin player for file 3) User copies the code and pastes in website And it plays on the website. I have programmers that have worked hard on this, but have ran into some snags. #1) I have a LINUX dedicated server and I need the audio and video files to convert automatically. Audio to SWF and Video to FLV. That's it. It has to work with MOST audio and video formats. Here's the email from my programmer: We have developed our audio & video website in ASP. We want to introduce format conversion in it. Since format conversion is relatively complex, so instead of implementing it. We user [login to view URL] file. This file can convert AVI format to FLV. We decided to run this file in background in collaboration with ASP pages. To upload executables we need to have our own Linux dedicated server . We have out own dedicated server. So now website is running without audio or video conversion on a third party windows hositng server. We want solution to have the website running , but we cannot pay about 200$ for windows based dedicated hosting server. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
