Good afternoon,
I need a program which is coded in the C language to be converted into a PHP script.
The program comes in a *.c file with 2500 lines from which almost 500 lines are comments.
The program calculated earth magnetic data based on user inputs and coefficients published in 2 simple txt files.
The program “geomag7.0 for Windows” can be downloaded from the following website:
The program is a command line console application to run in the DOS window. It requires user inputs as selections or direct inputs via keyboard.
The resulting PHP script should get the required user inputs and output the results in a table of both magnetic models.
The C program offers options (preferences) for the user input. From these options I only need the following:
Geomag v7.0 - Jan 25, 2010
What is the name of the model data file to be opened?
Calculation should be performed with both models ([login to view URL] AND [login to view URL])
How would you like to enter the date?
In year, month, and day.
Would you like output for a single date or for a range of dates?
A single date.
Enter the date (2010.00 to 2015.00):
Enter Coordinate Preferences:
Geodetic (WGS84 latitude and altitude above mean sea level)
Enter Unit Preferences:
Meters
Enter geodetic altitude above mean sea level in meters (-1000.00 to 600000.00):
Always 0 (zero)
How would you like to enter the latitude and longitude?:
In decimal degrees.
Enter the decimal latitude (-90 to 90) (- for Southern hemisphere):
Enter the decimal longitude (-180 to 180) (- for Western hemisphere):
Most of the user interaction may be deleted.
From the output I only need the magnetic declination “D” and the annual change “dD” in decimal degrees.
Thank you very much in advance.
