Alternative Windows Input Device

The objective of this project is to develop an input device for Windows 2000. I have an analog to digital (a/d) converter that is attached to a Windows 2000 computer via the serial port. The a/d convert can control 3 encoders, 4 digital switches and 4 analog devices. API's for the a/d converter box are available and I have test programs that allow me to rotate the encoder and watch counters go up or down as well as run a timer and other built in features of the box. Here is what I am asking this box to do: 1. I want the ability to have the rotational encoder input, move the mouse pointer. The Encoder traveling in the Y-Direction will be spinning at an unspecified RPM. A linear, rotational encoder or potentiometer will move the X-Direction. 2. The digital switches can be used just as the left and right buttons on the mouse but this is secondary to the initial input issues.

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
