I am tired of impediments to my productivity due to the poor design of search tools based on Spotlight’s indexing.? I find every solution to be woefully lacking - from Apple’s built-in search to all third-party software that I have found.? Nothing works simply and as it should - in my humble [url removed, login to view] Features (see file for full details):- A quick key combination should pop open a search dialog box.- As a result of user input in the dialog box, the search criteria should be passed to Spotlight.- The results returned by the Spotlight search should not be displayed in an Apple Finder Search Results Window, but rather should be displayed in a custom-designed results window with many of the same features as the Apple Finder Search Results Window. ? - In addition to the pop-up search dialog box, the program should have the capability to save a set of search criteria in some file structure so as to enable the user to open the “saved search?? criteria file and have the program open up the same results window.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
