C++ Application to Analyze Log Files - AWstats Clone This is a very simple project for a programmer who knows what they are doing Keywords: C++ Windows XP / Linux / wxwidgets / MySQL This application need to be developed using wxwidgets for the GUI and using other cross platform libs for non-GUI parts so that from a single source code a Linux and a Mac application can be compiled as well. The windows applications need to be compiled with the Borland C++ compiler. The actual Mac compiles are NOT part of this project. This application needs to import compressed (server) log files of the most common types of multiple domains into MySQL The analysis will be done on the MySQL database and calculated values will be stored in a separate MySQL table or Database The results need to be displayed and calculated LIKE AWStats. Instead of html, results are displayed in this GUI application, mostly in tables. Some results need to be calculated across multiple sub-domains or multiple domains. In some areas we do not need everything that AWStats displays but we need more detail regarding the Errors and Search Engine Spidering activity. AWstats is written in Perl and open source so we can NOT use their code, but I suppose we can use it as a model. This project will require some input from the coder and regular communication with ourselves. More detailed specs are available on request but subject to NDA Coder needs to communicate with our database programmer to ensure seamless integration of this application into our existing database. ## Deliverables Conditions: Work for hire - We will be the sole owner of the program, source code and other deliverables All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). All variables/parameters/comments in source code will be named in English Packaging and deliverables: 1) Stand alone ready to run executable for Windows 2000 / XP that runs WITHOUT the need for an installation. 2) Stand alone ready to run Linux application 3) Source code Important Notes: No reliance on M$ Internet Explorer or M$ development environment or M$ C++ libraries allowed!!
