Digital DJ app for WIN32

The goal of this project is to build a WIN32 digital music player that can be controlled via specially encoded vinyl records. The first of the two libraries we will be using in this project is the vinyl control library from MSPinky [login to view URL] The function of the above library is to decode a signal from a specially encoded vinyl, and make the position, speed and direction of that signal available to the software. The seconde library we will be using for this project is Audiere [login to view URL] The function of this library, is to provide audio playback of MP3, OGG and WAV files. So the task of the software you will be developing is to take the information provided by the MSPinky library, and translate that in to instructions for the Audiere library, as in if the vinyl speeds up, you need to increase the speed of playback in Audiere. If the vinyl stops you need to stop the Audiere playback etc. Due to licensing, I can only release a copy of the MSPinky library to the accepted bidder, however the specifications of the library are available on the MSPinky website, which should give you a good idea of the functionality available. The target audience for this software is the DJ market. The intended use is to have two sound cards installed in a PC, each assigned to it’s own MSPinky / Audiere channel. Your software will provide playlist functionality also, and allow the user to assign a song from a playlist to either channel 1 or channel 2. Finally, every function of the software should be accessible via keyboard shortcuts, for DJ’s working on mouseless notebooks.
