Add automatic scheduling to an existing Drupal import function

Our Drupal website has a custom import function which is triggered by a button on the Admin menu. We need that import function to also be automatically triggered on different days/times that we can set. The best solution would use a Drupal module that we could configure. There are no changes to the import function nor the Admin menu. We estimate a Drupal professional estimate a 1-2 hour completion time but the work should be completed by 12:00 EST. Hi, I have seen your requirement. We can set this function in cron, so that it can be executed automatically at a given time. But we need to set crontab also. Because drupal cron runs when someone hits your website. If your website is not getting hitted by someone, then cron will not run. But if cron tab is set then it will run and our custom function will be executed. Thanks
