I need someone who is intimate with PayPal technology, particularly custom "PayPal Encrypted Buttons" to write an article on "Building an affiliate program using PayPal Encrypted Buttons". I expect the article to cover the following topics in easy-to-understand (i.e. beginners can figure it out) language and screenshots*:

1) Setting up PayPal for custom Encrypted buttons. This involves generating and uploading a SSL certificate.

2) How to create a custom encrypted button using PayPal's certificate and the uploaded certificate.

3) How to create a simple affiliate program using PHP/MySQL. Assume new affiliates are manually entered into the system (e.g. SQLyog). Show how to integrate an affiliate ID into the encrypted button using PHP.

4) How to set up a basic IPN script. IPN script should be a PHP page that dumps data from PayPal into a MySQL table.

5) How to create a PHP page that processes the IPN-dumped table for affiliates and alters the affiliates table accordingly.

6) How to prepare the affiliates table into a format appropriate for PayPal MassPay using PHP. Set the affiliate rate at 5% of sales. Script should have two buttons: One to download the MassPay document. The other to reset the affiliates table for the next month.

7) How to use the MassPay file to pay the affiliates.

* Include screenshots wherever it makes sense. Use PayPal Sandbox for the screenshots.

Have some sort of disclaimer about the security of the whole setup.

Copyright tweaks: You may publish the article on a website and/or blog. Either one or both could be yours but it should only be published in at most two locations.
