Data Parsing and Enhancement Program

Seeking a two function program. Function 1. Parse, create seperate records, dedup within companies a. Parse multiple names and titles out of individual fields in range of user selected columns (see AD through BK of attached). b. Break down the contact records in a spreadsheet so each contact has it's own row in the spreadsheet or CSV file. c. Break up names into seperate first name, last name, and title fields that are automcatically added to the file by the program. d. Add a field and for each record, populate it with the executive type (most senior, Chairman, CEO, President, Secretary, operations, finance, Treasurer, HR, sales, marketing, IS, engineering, R&D, legal, purchasing, manufacturing) e. Remove records with duplicate names within the same company. Don't remove duplicates if they don't occur within the same company. Function 2. Provide a pull down list of possible email addres formats, allowing the user to select an email address to apply to all contacts in the file. These formats would include: firstinitiallastname, [login to view URL], firstname_lastname, lastnamefirstinitial, firstnamelastinitial, firstname. Create or overwrite (if field alread exists) an email field based upon email format selected. Either of the functions can be applied to any file that contains the minimum required fields. For either function, the program would prompt for the file to be processed, the fields that contain names, the fields that contain titles, the field for the web site, and the field for the company name. It would also prompt me for whether I wanted to carry out function one or function 2. If I choose function 2, it would prompt me for the email format I want to use. Function 2 would require seperate first and last name fields to already exist for each contact. The program should be able to deal with files with more or fewer columns than provided in the example file as long as the file contains the critical columns of interest. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows 2000, WinNT, in all 3.0+ versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape if a browser is used.
