I need a simple AJAX (JS,DHTML,ETC) web based drawing program that is customized to support manual printed circuit layout designs. No autorouter (although a good option) and a simple expandable library of components. The software would utilize polyline that snap to a predetermined grid (decimal and metric). Lines width would be selectable for .01" to .25".

Layers are needed (possible by color) from min of 4 layers. Lines drawn to pads must leave a "hole" in the center of the pad. Pads can be similar to "stamps" used in many web based drawing [url removed, login to view] to accurate dimensions is required, with local storage of the file in SVG format.

For an example of a similar program (non-web based) is available at <[url removed, login to view]> The final product need not have all the features that expresspcb has.

The coder may choose to use the open drawing library provided by <[url removed, login to view]> or the methods used by AjaxSkect at <[url removed, login to view]>.

Summation:

The user experience would involve the manual drawing of a pcb layout in appropritate scale, with a minimal, but expandable library, that would print to a local printer and be saved to a local drive in SVG format.

Browser: Minimally FireFox but preferable to be browser independent.
