Access 2007 Beta 2: multiple fields in layout line

This request requires that Access 2007 Beta 2 version be downloaded and installed from [login to view URL] I would like to create a form with the following layout where [ ] represents a text box. State/Zipcode : [ ][ ] However, using an Access 2007 layout which perfectly aligns all fields and permits the use of gridline properties, results in the following: State : [ ] Zipcode : [ ] How do I position two fields on the same row and at the same time have the following properties available to the single label and two text boxes on one line? Gridline style Gridline color Gridline width . It is not acceptable to remove the layout applied to the lable and text box controls. If it is removed, then there is no way to create a single underline that stretches from the left of the label to the right of the text box as shown in the attachment. I can't believe Microsoft will insist that every text box contain 30 characters, when a lot of values may be short. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
