First check out my website:

I'm running a medium busy website...although I don't use SEO's or paid links, my free software distributions and podcasts are bringing in a lot of traffic.

My provider cannot keep up. I need to switch to a new hosting provider, one that can scale. Here is the problem though, the shopping cart system I use now, is proprietary...it cannot come with me, it is not for sale. (It's based on the old bizEstore software, that isn't available, afaik).

So here is what you are bidding on. Clone my look, give me a new method for maintaining products, put my java applets on the new site, put my software links, etc.

This is probably trivial stuff for the experienced web developer. What I'm going to look for, when I review the bids, is the most sensible plan...keeping in mind my need to scale. Video downloads, new podcasts, and more software in the future, will mean a very busy site.

Finally, do not worry about not mentioning you do 'oscommerce'... or whatever free package it is that you use as the starting point. I will actually be the most comfortable with detailed plans, and tend to suspect plans that leave information out. ...the winner of the bid will be based on cost, of course, but also on whether I get a sense of thoroughness and attention to detail.

Thanks for considering me!
