Course assignment reminder system for use by multiple colleges and students:
1. Schools sign up and create an account. No payment gateway necessary, but code must support easy future insertion of a payment solution. Please quote with and without PayPal functionality.
2. The System has one or more administrators who can activate and deactivate school accounts.
3. Each school account has one or more administrators, who create/edit/activate user accounts, and reset passwords;
4. School administrators input course names/numbers, description, and course event description and date, and can clear all courses and reminders. Courses have multiple events;
5. School administrators create an activation key. Students sign up for an account at a specific school's system home page (set up in #1). If the student has the pre-authorized activation key, full account access is granted (meaning student can populate their reminder list). If no pre-authorized key is input, student completes account sign up, the account is placed on hold, and an email is sent to the school's administrator(s);
6. At intervals specified by the school administrator, email messages (via cron) will be sent to students regarding upcoming assignments for the courses they've previously selected.
7. Users can disenroll from courses, which stops the sending of emails for that course's assignments, or put their entire account on hold to eliminate sending of all emails;
8. Standard password reminder and reset functionality is needed at each level.
