Custom primary key for 3 tables in Access db:

I've got a process in which I can have multiple installations for a service call and multiple service calls for a job order.

I'd like custom primary keys es so that the IDs are as follows:

Job order id (JID)= xxxxxxx (6 character identifier)

Service call id (SID)= xxxxxx - yyyy (additional 4 characters)

Installation id (IID)= xxxxxx - yyyy - zzz (additional 3 characters)

In this way the SID is the JID + SID and the IID is the JID + SID + IID.

By looking at an IID you can quickly identify the service call and the job order IDs. Further I'd like the SID to be sequential and restart for each new JID and the IID to be sequential and restart for each SID.

Currently the primary keys are single autonumber fields. The end result primary keys can be multiple fields and numeric or alpha numberic, your choice.

Conditional formatting:

Further I would like conditional formating so that the back color of the ID control for each form is red if there is a date in txtCanceled and yellow if the record is overdue. The only form with the possibility of overdue is fsubSrvCall. Overdue means that the current date is past txtReqd or txtTarget.

(No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
