Digg like website

I would like to set up a website that looks, acts and behaves like digg.com. I know that digg is based on other technology (pligg, etc) and there are a number of other knock offs, so using existing *legally* usable technology as a starting basis is ok. however whatever you start with needs to be upgraded & improved to include all the digg features that exist as of jun 2006. i dont need the digg spy feature however. the code needs to be run on msft technology (VS, asp.net, C#). code needs to be commented & well engineered to be understandable & maintainable by a reasonably intelligent programmer. thx.
