I have ideas to build a web app, and need someone who can do all the technical stuff behind the scenes. I'm a web person, but mainly front-end focussed. I've thrown together a prototype of how I want this system to work (at least after the user has signed up - working on the public facing html site now).
The system is a basic site builder, where users sign up to generate a 7 page website (basic package). They can have multiple sites under one account, and need to able to point their own domains to them. Sites are strictly template driven - the only things the user can edit are the main colours (eg: links, header/footer backgrounds, text); and content. Content is loaded up by literally filling in a form for each of the pages.
We're looking for super basic. The target market is people who know nothing about getting a website up... we're building for the technologically inept lowest common denominator (think about your Dad or Grandmother... we want them to be able to get a site up fast!).
Need to have a payment gateway integrated (if not more than one). Paypal recurring payments - definitely. Maybe Stripe. If a user cancels their subscription, their site gets replaced with a holding page at the next billing date.
We are BOOTSTRAPPING. Please don't quote me $25,000, because I'll laugh at you. We've developed half the system, looking to get it finished. There is potential for more work in the future, and if the business flies, potential for profit sharing and more permanent employment. If not, well, we work for multi-nationals in the IT field, so we'll put a good word in for you. And we'll happily provide excellent written references to help with your future employment.
