Hi, I have a fairly straightforward task and I really don't mind which programming language is used but It just needs to be easy to run. It involves a barcode scanner scanning a value of a product..... 1)I have an excel file with two columns, a barcode number and in the corresponding cell an image url e.g: CELL A1: 1231231223 CELL B1 [login to view URL] 2) When the barcode scanner scans a product and finds a match from the excel file, it will simply display the image on the screen. 3) if another item is scanned the image will replace the image that was generated on the screen/window before That is all, it's very straightforward for those that have experience, its simply a matter of scanning the products barcode and then the value being read and the corresponding image being displayed on the screen, if there are no barcode matches an image/message saying inventory does not exist.
