We have a few problems with our asterisk system. a little back history, we started using Asterisk at home on a CentOS 4 system, and upgraded our web interface to the new FreePBX. After not being able to configure it like we wanted, I recreated the dialplan from the ground up. These are the problems we need fixed: -when customers are entered into the tech support queue, its supposed to ring on two phones, but sometimes 30 minutes goes by, with the customer on hold, and no ring -caller id doesn't work -add the ability to easily announce to a person who is calling before transfering the call. -sometimes when deleting voicemails, it doesnt delete the .txt file, only the sound file, showing the person the voicemail is still there -we have 3 lines, when all 3 are taken, and someone calls in, the 3rd line has a call waiting beep, is their anyway to answer that? -sometimes one of the phones doesnt ring on the group from the tech queue, but the other does. -when one of the phones on the ring group is ringing, and the other person is on the phone, the person on the phone doesnt hear the ring, but the person they are speaking to does hear it, and not through the microphone -echo cancellation needs to be optimized through zaptel -the ability to transfer someone to a persons voicemail, instead of to their phone to wait for 5 rings then voicemail.
