Hello, I'm interested by your project since I have been working with PHP and MySQL for over 8 years now so the task you have asked should be pretty easy for me, I think that a cron job will do just fine for this task. The few things needed would be the structure of your csv files, mysql tables and directories to find the csv files. If you have examples csv files it would be great to have them, as well as the structure of the table (as when you do an export). Hello, Understanding of the project: You need to run a cronjob with php script, the cronjob will check that the file uploading in a day or not, if file uploading then the data will import to mysql database from that uploaded csv file. Queries: Hows the 2 files will delete? Regards, Milliard

Hi, I'm new to freelancer, but doing PHP from 2002. Also I love data mining projects, so I've done several tasks like this. I can start imediatelly working on this project. Yes, I would suggest CRON for this, so You only need to upload the CSV files. Or if You have no CRON-availability You also can set any of Your machines (preferably a server that is working 7/24) to load an URL on Your site, that will do the import and delete the files (I suggest not to delete, but to move the files to a 'processed' folder to save it if You need that later) For start working on it I'll need the CSV files - or at least a sample of them and the DB schema of the tables involved. After I'm finished I can help You setting up this importscript via FTP or by writinig down what You should do step by step.
