Automatic generation of thumpnails from images. Need a mod for script which prevent stretching

Hi, WE are running the script which can be found on [login to view URL] this script is automatically generating thumpnails of videos which are uploaded and displays them on homepage. We need a mod that does prevent the thumpnails of images (gifs, jpgs...) that they are stretched and distorted since script uses full space of box. So videos tghumpnails should remin, image thumpnails should be reciced and rest of box filled out. Currently the script is running FFmpeg , FFmpeg-PHP, Flv2tool to generate thumps. We are looking for a long term coder preferably, which cam work on site more often. Actual url will be given to the bidders im PM.
