Here is the deal, I wrote a php script that copies a directory on a remote server, these folders are in excess of 5 GB, so the script needs to not timeout. Right now I have a Linux server that sends a lwp-request in a fork to a remote windows server, and on that windows server, it copies directories. That was done in PHP, but I keep getting the following error message: The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. It usually happens a couple of minutes in, half way thru the copy process. The code I have works, but apparently it is not going to work. So my options are: A) Have someone tell me exactly what to do to fix the problem, it happens on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP both, IIS 6 and IIS 5.1. Which I will pay for IF it is fixed. B) My preference, would be to have a new code written so I can just keep the fork as is and change the request to the new file. This script needs to be written in either PHP, regular ASP, or Perl. My script executes a shell command that basically just requests the file from the server, if you have any questions, please do ask. I would like a quick fix since this has been hindering me for a long time. It should be too hard, also I need a way to send variables in to this script (after all it is copying directories based on who sends the request). I will test the script on both Windows XP Pro SP2 and Windows Server 2003, if it works, then thats all I ask! Hopefully this is an easy script to write, it was easy to write my script, but it just does not work. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Linux (issuing lwp-request, no files copied here) Windows XP Windows Server 2003 Perl, ASP, PHP 4 installed
