Software requirements

This is a description of the software that needs to be created or adapted for the Nokia Studio tour.? The main point of this software is that once installed and running on the machines it can be operated simply by either the public or a member of promotional staff guiding the public through the programme.

Application 1

A simple F5 refresher programme that runs in the background, this application needs to refresh a webpage ([[url removed, login to view]][2]) which is showing a slideshow of photos that are uploaded up from a cell phone ??" this part is taken care of from already.

Application 2

The experience here is to have your photo taken, and then the member of the public is given two different options:

Option 1 the photo is directly uploaded to the Ovi website from the handset.

Option 2 the photo is sent to a folder on a desktop, via a wifi home network. The public then move to the computer to see the photo.

On the desktop there is a programme running, it takes the 5 most recent photos, you can the select your photo, once you have selected your photo you can then add a background from a selection of 8.

You now have a photo of yourself for example in front of the Whitehouse, you can then upload the photo to the Nokia Productions website with the users ID so as it is then in the Nokia Productions group but also in their own profile.

Application 3

Almost exactly the same experience as the photo except the public is filmed against a green screen, the video is then shared via a home wifi network to a folder on a desktop from there it is the same process, choose your film, choose the back ground and then upload it to your own profile on the Nokia Productions website, under the users ID.

There are existing green screen applications that we can purchase and we feel that it may be simpler and quicker to use one of these, but that the user interface needs to be simplified, Nokia Skinned if possible and the photo feed and upload integrated if possible.

Application 4

We have a machine called the beamz <[url removed, login to view]> this machine creates music and rhythms when you wave your hands in the laser beams, the sound is then recorded onto a handset, this is then shared via a home network WiFi to a desk top from where it can be uploaded to your Nokia Productions account under your own User ID
