Custom WordPress Plugin

In the WP admin, I would like to be able to click a button and pull in news from RSS feeds, like those autoblogger plugins, except I don't want it to add the items to the blog automatically. Instead, I want to pick the ones I have experience with or that I would like to recommend, etc., and then it will show the text from the RSS in the fields for a post (subject and body). I would then create my own text based on the information there, and post it. If someone has an alternate approach suggestion, feel free to mention. Basically, I want to be able to provide a "best of the best" in the niche, but with a convenient way to do it that does not take so much time (since I don't have much time, unfortunately). The way I had planned would not interfere with the template, I think. So, I should be able to get a custom template made without any concerns relating to this.
