Database required to manage our dance school

We require a database to manage student lists and attendance for our dance school. I've attached an excel document describing the functions we require the database to perform We are open as to the platform you suggest, but bear in mind we will need to operate the database on a Mac, and also we would prefer if we can use a free software (as opposed to having to purchase one, like FileMakerPro), or we can use Excel, etc, as we have Microsoft suite on our Mac. We do not have Microsoft Access, and I've been told that if we want to use Access then we need to get some kind of secondary program like Bootcamp, or something like that to run a Windows based program on the Mac. We would prefer not to have to purchase another software program if possible. Open to suggestions.
