We need your help to develop a new website to one of our clients and then i will explain to you how it has to work.
The main idea of this new website contemplates the upload of many high resolution pdf files for online approval only by the people authorized by the client and obviously the people who have been previously registered in the system by the managers of it.
This new system allows the registration of 6 types of users with different privileges. Then i will explain each one:
1. System Manager
2. Direct Contact
3. Approver
4. Consultation
5. Materials Inspector
6. Print Provider
1. System Manager: They have all the website privileges. They are the only ones who can register a new product or a new user of the system when the client requests. Also, they can obtain reports of all the products and users registered in the website, they can search files by name, code, presentation, etc. Basically, the website manager can do anything that the system allows.
2. Direct Contact: Is the client or the people that make all the work requests. They can practically visualize all the products like the manager but they can´t upload any files. In case they need it, they will have to ask the manager to do it. They also have the same certificate box in their menu like the system manager. They have the privilege to approve files in the system if they want to, or they also can reject the file in case they need some changes, in that case, they can leave a message to know the reject reason and then the manager can make the changes and continued the process.
3. Approver: They are all the upload users in the system, they can approve or reject their pending products online. In case that they reject a file, they also can leave a message to know the reject reason and then the manager can make the changes and continued the process. The menú that they visualize is only their pending products.
The can change their own information like: name, password, etc.
They also visualize the complete list of the system products.
They can search files by name, code, presentation, etc.
4. Consultation: They are the users that only are allow to visualize the list of all the system products. So the only thing that they can view is the list and also the menú of their own information like: name, password, etc. to change it in case they needed. They can search files by name, code, presentation, etc.
5. Materials Inspector: They are only allowed to visualize the list of approve products and in case that they needed to download any of them, they have to sign first a download certificate that includes information like: Name of the user, date and sign. This certificate is automatically saved in the certificate box that only visualizes the manager and the direct contact but the Materials inspector can print it also in case they needed.
6. Print Provider: They are only allowed to visualize the approved products that the manager puts in their own download box. Once the manager put the files they need to print in the provider box, they have only 3 days or permission to download the file or for 3 times (whichever comes first) but first they have to sign a download certificate (like the materials inspector) that includes information like: Name of the provider, date and sign. This certificate is automatically saved in the certificate box that only visualizes the manager and the direct contact but the Provider can print it also in case they needed.
Roughly, the information above was the description that we need each user to include and then i describe you the general process to approve the products.
