Dear Freelancers,
I need a coder who can do a bash script and php script. There will be:
1. Some linux servers to do the PING
2. A web server to present the result in HTML
====================================================================
1. I have some linux servers (more than 1), that does a PING to certain IP. then it produced the results of ms (ping miliseconds). The source of files is [login to view URL] contains some IP (i will provide the csv) in the following manners:
NAME | IP
2. Those results were shown/presented on (collected/pooled by) a webserver by some sort of tables, in the following manner (in HTML table format):
NAME | RESULT 1 (ms) | RESULT 2 (ms) | RESULT 3 (ms)
====================================================================
I need to add some action button in the web server, so whenever it clicked then all the ping server will send the result to the webserver. (triggered the ping server to send the result). By the way, all the results where run every 15 or 30 minutes cron in linux servers but remain there until triggered (for security purposes).
Thanks,
Harry
For so little money, communication must be kept to a minimum. Not a big back-and-forth. Thus, your specification must be made more exact.
To write a script that reads a CSV and generates HTML will take only a minute or two.
To write a script that performs the ping will also take only a minute or two.
To write a CGI that will "trigger" a remote server to perform an action is a line of code that should take seconds to write. But you did not say how to "trigger," which you must. Is there another CGI on the other side?
If you wish to ask many questions and have dialogue, just choose another bidder. It's not enough money for that. But I will write the code very quickly and correctly if you will specify it.
