Two items needed:
I'm not sure how this will be used yet, so I need both the routine, callable from within the application, and I need a DLL created, to be accessed from within the application - described below:
I need a routine that will go through an entire open web document (vb project is included for testing), and clean the appearance of the html type (based solely on open and closing brackets) tags in the document (not JUST HTML specific tags). The tags will need to be indented with a line feed and a tab, based on its position on the page and whether it's a tag with open and close tags, or if it's a tag that closes itself (<img src="[login to view URL]" />). The page itself needs to be perfectly formatted, no matter what the format of the page was like previously - the user will decide whether or not to save the newly formatted page.
There will need to be two output possibilities - the end user will need to check a preference for either type.
First type - open and closing tags all on one line
Second type - open tags on one line, any text/data on next line, indented, and lastly, closing tag on another line
Samples included:
[login to view URL] - no indentation - example of file to be 'cleaned'
[login to view URL] and [login to view URL] are the two different types of cleaning to be produced by this process.
