Development of a complete client server management solution using Visual Basic. A modular system where modules can be included or excluded as required. The server solution must be able to control and monitor a number of computers in remote locations. The solution comprises the following areas: Client Interface Based on Internet explorer providing navigation controls and application links * Standard explorer navigation functionality * Email - send and receive functionality * E-postcard and Video mail * Print - ability to charge and print pages * Secure client environment, restricting access to the underlying system * Remove all traces of history and cache when user session ends * Video conferencing solution Interface designer Tool to enable design and distribution of client interface Payment module To enable the following payment types coin, credit card, custom card Remote control To provide the ability to remotely control all aspects of the client including file transfer * Computer monitoring * Remote updates * Application monitor * Heart beat - send status messages to server periodically * Reports & statistics - on usage, pages viewed, revenue taken etc Advertising Solution A complete scheduling and management system needs to be developed that needs to be simple to use but also flexible with the following key features: * Providing the ability to schedule ads to run on individual computers or group of computers, months, weeks, days in advance * Provide the opportunity for advertisers to purchase ad slots and manage their campaign via a web interface * Providing the ability to stream and have the option to download ads to the client for playing Administration privileges The ability to set or restrict access to server functions by username & password I would ideally like a bid for the complete solution but will to discuss bids for elements of the above. No third party software and components.
