Hello, I have worked before with the twilio api and this not a complicated project. The detection of the number and especially formulation of the text message is the harder part. I see 2 options, either a list of auto makes as a filter, or using the title of the ad as basis. Ideally I would schedule the retrieving of each individual ad at random intervals to avoid triggering craigslist filters. As far as I know, they aren't welcoming at all towards automated scripts parsing their site. Looking forward to your response, Viorel

Hi, I have scraped millions of records from hundreds of websites, including craigslist. I'm also familiar with REST API calls and in particular the Twillio API. I therefore have the skills an experience to handle your project. I can develop an application that will scrape craigslist on a regular basis extract the year make and model of the car, as well as the phone number and generate an SMS message to be sent via Twillio. I have a few questions fro you though: Where do you want the program to run? On a single computer at your office? Which operating system are you using? Or would you prefer the program to run off a server? How often do you want to scrape the data? Do you want the SMS to be generated right away or do you want some kind of validation that the post is not a duplicate (pretty common in craigslist, people republish to get back at the top of the list.)
