CSS & slight coding assistance Required with custom wordpress theme

Please read all points! I have a custom wordpress theme and I need the following work carried out on the theme: 1. Require our homepage to be static with the search and logo centred. Also the ability to show the latest custom posts added for the last week. 2. Sort out browser compatibility issues for Chrome, IE 7, 8, 9, Firefox, Safari and Android devices. 3. Help sort top navigation out so that i can add custom menus instead of all added pages 4. Set-up Pagination as 1 2 3 4 5 Next with all secondary pages having the "no follow" tag. 5. I already have custom pages set-up that allow content to be added but also show related search results there is a slight css issue where the content pushes the results under the sidebar, it maybe i am using a plugin to show only an excerpt of the content and when i show the full length a css issue occurs. This could be implemented without the plugin which would be better. - this needs sorting. 6. The ability to show how many results the search has generated this will need to work on the custom search page results. 7. Our site is mainly used as a search engine so we have a problem with ugly URL's but to counter this problem for SEO we have set-up custom pages that show search results (as mentioned above) what we need is that <link rel="canonical" href="/custom-page"> is added to related search results in there header so search engines know which version to index and stop duplication problems. 8. Slight work to the css on the sidebars so that page and custom menu listings are expandable. 9. CSS - Slight help needed in increasing the width for content i have an example of what i require. 10. CSS - Help in making pages where the custom search results are displayed more in-line with each other as there is spaces between the two making it look too separated. That should be about it.
