The overall goal is user of site can register serial number of the equipment. 1. automatically every day import of serial numbers and ID of products from XML file on the server 2 .to make module for joomla 2.5 the module should: a) show a form to enter the serial number. b) Check the number on table1 if there available or not. if yes go to c) to check this number if it is already registered to a some user or not. If the number is checked in the table1 and not registered on any user then it should be assigned to the current user and always display on his profile page(near the input form for example). (registered serial numbers should be saved in table2 of databse and user who assigned in table 3) If the serial number was registered previously or was not found in table1, then show sad smile. please write me what will be the cost

Moving towards your project requirements I have perceived that you want to get developed a joomla site with a custom module which will have the following features: 1) There would be form which is fill-able in order to fill the serial number. 2) Will crosscheck the serial number from the first table. Where there would be two condition "true or false" if there a serial number on the first table it will check the user whom it was allotted in case its not it will register the user or the number would be assigned to the current user and will be his default serial number. 3) In-case there would be no match found it will show the sad smile.
