Amazon S3 Interface

**Please bid on this project only if you have experience interfacing with Amazon's S3 service. We will reject bidders who do not notify us in their initial contact that they have this experience.** We need an interface to Amazon S3 for simple file storage and retrieval. The project should be written in Visual Basic 6 (not .NET) We need a DLL that we can call to do all the same things to files and folders stored on S3 that we can do to local files. Note, please, that the license agreement for S3 calls for storing files no larger than 40K. I don't know if that is enforced, but it's possible we may need to break files into 40K blocks for storage. If we need to do this, it should be a transparent process to the user of the DLL. The DLL should throttle its use of CPU and bandwidth resources dynamically as needed to not interfere with other applications. So, it will need to monitor CPU and socket usage. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
