We are looking for an opt in application that recognizes in-page banner advertisements. The application will then display a dhtml window in exactly the same place as the ad. Basically, the application should recognize banner advertisements on a page and replace them. How you get this done is up to you. The application needs to know what size the ad is, and then call a URL. This application should work on Windows XP and greater. This application must work on all versions of Internet Explorer. This application needs to be easily uninstalled using the add/remove feature of Windows. The winning bidder will be chosen from a variety of criteria. The winning bidder will outline the various methods of getting this application to work, and then present what they believe to be the best method and why. Please do not bid on this project if you will not be able to complete it in a reasonable timeframe. Price is not so important if it is a job well done.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
This application should work on Windows XP and greater. This application must work on all versions of Internet Explorer. Greater consideration will be given to bids that include functionality in Firefox as well.
