I want a command line executable written in C# (could be another language, this is negotiable), which reads and sets a speciifc check mark found in the active directory user properties.

The property is accessed like this: Hold down shift while opening Active Directory Users and Computers. From the View menu, select "advanced features." Right-click on a user, and select "Properties" then select the "Security" tab. Click on Advanced. The checkbox field is called "Allow inheritable permissions from the parent to propagate to this object and all child objects. Include these with entries explicitly defined here."

Syntax Example:

C:\> [url removed, login to view] user

Clear

C:\> [url removed, login to view] user -set

C:\> [url removed, login to view] user

Set

In the first case, we are reading the setting for this property in the active directory, for the user "username" and the program responds with the string "Clear" which means the checkbox is clear.

In the second case, we are telling the program to set the value, which causes it to be checked. "-clear" is another flag we want to support, but not shown in the example.

In the third case, we are seeing the value of this property is now "set" and if we view it is the AD user interfare, we would see our field has a checkmark on it.
