Computer Guided Exercise Brief description: 1. Build a device which can take 5 to 8 logic signals from sensors (infrared) 2. Establish the interface between the device and a computer through either series or parallel port. 3. Design and implement a software package, which will perform the task as stated next. 4. The package should be able to • Display at least 4 predefined routines, with duration of 2 to 5 minutes. • Take input signals from the sensor device and compare them with the routine sequence and give response accordingly. • Assess the performance of the user based on the match between the predefined routine and the input given in real time. 5. Report on the project management. What you need to do: • Build the sensor device and test it. • Design and implement the basic software package. • The software should be able to display one predefined routine. • Implement the interface between the sensor device and the computer. • Implement the software package. • Deliver the final product on time. NOTE: As this is a small project it should be written in a very basic manner with easy to understand comments. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Need a detailed circuit diagram of the appropriate interface borad and the type/model of sensors used. 3) Need full listing of hardware components and their respective data sheets in ENGLISH. 4) Need a basic manual describing how to work given project. Along with easy to understand comments in the code. (IMPORTANT) 5) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 6) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under Australian Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Please note: This project is for an Australian student and I require it to be able to run on: Windows XP/2000 Platform
