Consultant for embedded project, email/IM assistance needed.

*** UPDATE: I only need some occasional consulting, most days I may not even have any questions. I just need to know that there is someone available to answer my questions when I get stuck, and wont be afraid to write a little code if necessary. *** I am working on an embedded project interfacing a keypad and card reader (rs232) to a rabbit semiconductor rcm3100 board. I am looking for a coder with the following qualities: - Knows RS232 communications. - Understands DC theory and Digital IO - Has embedded programming experience, preferably with rabbit hardware. - Knows C very well. - Knows electronics and can explain some simple circuits if needed. The coder must be made available to answer questions at least a 2 hours each day on instant messaging (aim). You dont have to work with my constantly, just be online for questions to be answered, and if this is sometimes not possible, answer via email within 8-12 hours. I might ask for code examples (very small snippets to illustrate a point), explanations of simple dc circuits and concepts, digital io questions, emebdded questions. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
