Add "Search By Date" Feature and slider to Wordpress site

Hello, I am working on a Wordpress Events site and I need a custom search made so that users can search for projects by date. Just like what's on [login to view URL] . I have an idea of how this is made but can't figure it out myself so I need help from you if you can do this. You will need to create a custom meta box that will save the date as a timestamp and then create a search box that will filter search results based on the dates selected by users. For the slider, I require something like what's on this site: [login to view URL] I'll be able to pay up to $30 for this work. Looking forward to working with you.
