We are supplying a gas detection controller that is monitoring 25 points of gas detection in a building. This controller also has 16 relay outputs to activate alarms. The controller has a Modbus TCP output. I need someone to supply a Windows software package (can be open source) and program it to show a graphical layout of the building with icons indicating each measuring point that one can click and view its data. During alarms, the screen should flash and indicate which point is in alarm. All values should be stored in a data logger. In addition the software should allow for remote viewing (Remote Desktop). The project is in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, but you can be anywhere in the world. Currently we are bidding this project, but there is a very good possibility that we will be successful. Therefore there is no guarantee that the winning bidder will be hired.

As per your post i think you required graphical view of your building with the alarm system which is installed in building, with faceplate of every alarm. We have done this kind of project(for paint company), for that we design sld image of that particular area and used it in our scada project on wincc. so it shows actual condition of flow in that particular area.
