Digitally Touch-Up Full Body 3D Scans for Geometry and Color (OBJ/MTL/JPG to Textured VRML)

Hey there! I need to find someone who can join our remote work team to do geometry and color touch-ups on real full-body 3D scans of people. The files are available to you in a ZIP archive with an OBJ, MTL, and JPG inside. This project is to touch-up TEN (10) full-body human 3D models for geometry and color. After this project, you will have access to continue working for us on an ongoing basis. We currently have HUNDREDS of these files available for touch-up, and our rate for completed touch-ups is $4.00 each. If you blow our minds with the quality of your work, we'll pay $4.75 each. If the models make our customers ecstatic, we'll give you $5.50 each. At the start, you'll earn $4.00 per model, including the first few test models we give you to touch up (while you're learning/proving you can do the work). Over time, we'll graduate you to the $4.75 level, then the $5.50 level. What you need to return to us is a textured VRML file. We use Meshmixer and Mudbox to do the touch-ups; however, you can use any program(s) you are familiar with (maya, 3dsmax, photoshop, zbrush) so long as we get a textured VRML at the end (with a .wrl extension paired with a PNG or JPG). Things that we normally have to fix: 1. Webbing between arms and bodies, between legs, and between bodies (sometimes our scans are 2-7 people rather than an individual) 2. Blobbing on the top of heads (copy hair texture to cover up the discoloration on the tops of heads) 3. Flattened facial features (we have to pull them out a bit to make them stand out) 4. Missing arms (we have to recreate the arm based on the other one that did come out) 5. Very bumpy bodies/extremities (we have to smooth the areas that were super bumpy because of noise in the 3D image when processing) As you do the first few touch-ups, we'll provide you with detailed feedback about what is important to us and what you're doing a good job of/not doing a good job of. When all is said and done, you have the potential to make serious money if you can do these touch-ups well and understand the process and what you need to do to efficiently and beautifully touch these models up.
