I had a PrestaShop website built by a freelancer a few months ago now. One of the requirements when I rewarded the job to this freelancer was that I have full access to be able to make amendments etc. I have since realised that he has not given me full access and I am unable to alter the home page which has an incorrect business address, a product in the slide show that is not mine and the orders I receive are not showing in PrestaShop (the only record I get is an email if they pay by PayPal). I have contacted him regarding this several times and he is now ignoring my messages. He has set himself as the SuperAdmin in the PrestaShop admin login which I am unable to change. Is it possible to change the settings so I have full access or have I wasted my money on this website? I am hoping someone has the knowledge to be able to get this sorted for me as I have lost customers/money & cannot promote my website with an incorrect address advertised. Thanks in advance.

I can solve your issue in few hours. It's not necessary to have the SuperAdmin permissions to set in the site. Have you at least the access to your hosting/domain panel ?

Hi, British web developer here able to help you. I presume that you own the hosting where the website is located and if so all is ok. I will need either FTP/cpanel access and then I can make you a superadmin and remove the old developer if you like. Once you have full access I will help guide you to changing the required bits, whether they are accessible via prestashop admin or another method. Mark

Hello! I fear you might have a problem as it sounds, that might not be solveable as easily or by the help of a coder. Do you have any access on the server, like per FTP or to the database directly? If you have, please let me know and I can see what is doable. If not, and you don't have superadmin access to it's backend either or something else, it seems you would have to go other ways, like as example through a court to gain what you paid for or to request your money back. Any other attempts to gain access to the server could be seen as a hacking attempt and I would advise against them. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
